UI/UX DESIGN

Design the Experience
Users Shouldn’t Have
to Figure Out

Whether you are launching a store, migrating to Shopify, or working with a setup that has become hard to change, we help you decide what should stay, what should change, and what needs to be built differently.

BEFORE REDESIGN

Not Every UX Problem Is an Interface Problem

01

Flow Problem

The destination is clear, but reaching it takes too many steps, decisions, interruptions, or unnecessary dependencies.

02

Interface Problem

The product works logically, but weak hierarchy, inconsistent patterns, or unclear states make it harder to understand.

03

Native, App or Custom

Check Shopify first, then compare an app against custom development before adding another dependency.

04

Product Problem

The friction comes from a rule, feature, workflow, or business decision that visual design alone cannot fix.

Knowing which problem you actually have prevents an expensive redesign from simply giving the same problem a newer interface.

Users Are Struggling. Not Sure Why?

Show us the product, troublesome flow, customer feedback, or available usage data. We will help isolate what is creating the friction.

The final design gave our product a level of clarity we were struggling to achieve internally. Complex information became much easier to navigate, and the design system gave our development team a much stronger foundation to build from.

HOW WE WORK

Froms UX Symptom to Defensible   Design Decisions

A clear, structured approach — from first conversation to final delivery. No guesswork, no dropped balls — just a process built around your success.

START WITH WHAT WE KNOW

Replace Opinions With Useful Signals

We collect the context already available, from user conversations and support issues to analytics, product behaviour, business rules, and team knowledge.

FIND THE ACTUAL FAILURE

Separate the Symptom From the Cause

A drop-off, complaint, or confusing screen tells us where to look. We investigate what is making the experience fail before proposing the fix.

RESOLVE THE LOGIC

Decide How the Product Should Behave

We work through priorities, navigation, task logic, dependencies, states, and edge cases before visual polish begins.

MAKE THE HARD PARTS TANGIBLE

Test the Flow Before Building It

Interactive prototypes make unclear behaviour visible and let us challenge important product decisions before engineering commits to them.

CHECK WHAT MATTERS

Put Risky Decisions Under Pressure

Where useful, we test critical tasks, assumptions, or prototypes with users and refine the areas that create hesitation or failure.

REMOVE BUILD-TIME GUESSWORK

Design Beyond the Happy Path

We document responsive behaviour, components, permissions, errors, loading, empty states, and interactions developers need to implement the experience correctly.

HOW WE THINK ABOUT UX

We Don’t Measure UX by How Many Screens Change

We Diagnose Before Redesigning

A visual refresh will not fix broken navigation, bad workflow logic, or the wrong product decision. We determine which problem we are solving first.

We Design the Uncomfortable States

Errors, empty states, permissions, interruptions, failed actions, and unusual scenarios are part of the product experience too.

We Consider the Cost of the Decision

A small UX gain does not always justify major engineering complexity. Design decisions are considered alongside implementation effort and product value.

We Leave the Product Easier to Continue

Reusable patterns, clear behaviour, and documented decisions help your team extend the experience without reinventing it feature by feature.

COMMON UX QUESTIONS

Before You Commit to a Redesign

Yes. At that stage, the job is to identify assumptions, define the critical user tasks, reduce unnecessary scope, prototype risky parts, and validate what can realistically be tested before development.

You may not need much. But a screen list tells us what exists, not whether the journey makes sense. We normally review the critical flows, states, priorities, and dependencies before detailed interface work.

We do not assume it is. We look at the journey, behaviour, funnel data, usability, messaging, product rules, and other available evidence. Pricing, traffic quality, or the offer itself may be the real issue.

Yes. Existing user habits matter. We can improve a specific workflow, feature, or group of screens while preserving patterns that remain useful and familiar.

We will say so. Changing the interface is poor value if the actual problem sits in the product model, business process, technical behaviour, or proposition.

Not automatically. It becomes valuable when inconsistency is affecting usability, designers keep recreating patterns, or developers are implementing the same behaviour differently across the product.

Yes. We can work within your current product constraints and provide flows, interface states, component logic, prototypes, specifications, and design QA for implementation.
